Google Trends is a service to be used by bloggers or content developers to know what are people mostly searching for and what are they interested in and blog accordingly. To get traffic to a website or blog people must find some thing interesting in that website or blog. If a website or blog have that content what most of the people are interested in, that will obviously bring most visitors to that website or blog.

How to know what people are interested in? Google Trends by Google is the exact answer for that question. Google Trends is a service what analyzes all the searches done by the internet users worldwide and find what people are searching mostly for, and display them as Hot Searches to their users. A blogger who want to reach most of the users must use this google trends, know the interests of people and write some thing that they are interested in. Google Trends provides these Hot Searches country wise i.e, google.com/trends displays hot searches for USA and google.co.in/trends displays hot searches for India depending on the search engine used by the user.

Google Trends also provide trend analysis to a particular search term which helps to see if a search term that a webmaster or blogger targeting is performing well on google search engine or not.  This analysis includes the regions and cities from where that search term is being searched for and graph showing the performance of the search term in different years. Google Trends for particular search also provides options to see the performance of the search term in last 30days or last 12 months or in a specific year.

Google Trends a really good and interesting service for those bloggers and web masters who want to get most out of the content they are building in their blog or website. There are many other interesting options in Google Trends which i am not explaining in this post.

If you have a wonderful website or blog with great and interesting content and no one knows that your website exists or no one visits your website, it is of no use possessing it. Search engines are the true friends for a website or blog to get visitors. If an internet user is searching for some interesting content and one of the pages of your website possess that subject, you must tell the search engine the same. This can be done by building Inbound Links to the pages of your web site. Inbound Links are the links made using anchor tags in HTML, from other websites to the pages of your website.

Inbound Links in fact builds page rank to your website which is considered for search engine rankings. Every search engine maintains its own rank for a page to list in the results. To improve this page rank your page must be linked from the content of other website pages i.e., if a page with good page rank links to your page search engine treats that the content on that page must be given importance while ranking search engine results. If your Inbound Links comes from the relevant pages that link is considered more trustworthy and considered for higher page rank than a link from non relevant page. That is if the Inbound Link come from a relevant page your page will improve its search engine ranking. If you want your page to be displayed on the higher ranks of search engines build as many Inbound Links as possible from the relevant pages. Be sure that the anchor text used in the Inbound Link is a relevant keyword for your page.

Inbound Links also get traffic to your page from the websites from where your pages are linked. Assume if your page have hundreds of Inbound Links and each link brings a visitors to your page every day that builds good traffic to your website.
