No Comments, Posted on Feb.19, 2010, under Firefox, Google

I dont have to say much about Google Buzz as it is already a known word for most of the internet users and has become popular too by integration in Gmail inbox. Since its release Google Buzz has attracted almost every internet user with its excellent service allowing users not only update their status but also share photos, videos, make conversations and much more.

Many of the extension developers have already developed few extensions for Google Chrome and Firefox browsers to make Google Buzz more easier and notify the updates for users. I would like to bring out few of those Google Buzz extensions for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox for my readers.

Chrome Buzz is an extension that is developed for Google Chrome which support extensions notifies you with a number of new Buzzes you have with a icon. Chrome Buzz also allows posting Buzzes and comments right from the browser.

Buzz It is an extension for FireFox which enables you to Buzz update of the web page you are viewing with its title and Bit.ly shortened link to the web page via Gmail. It also allows user to check the link statics for the webpage.

Google Buzz Checker is an extension for Google Chrome with support for extensions which notifies the number of unread Buzzes with a icon in the browser and also takes you to Buzz page when you click on that icon. If you are logged in to your Gmail that’s enough for Google Buzz Checker to notify you.

Google Buzz Count Hide 1.0 is an extension for Firefox which hides the counts of Google Buzz. If you are in a busy work or trying for some hard thing to get done and want to be undisturbed with the Buzz count you may use this extension and check when you become free or you get time to see the Buzzes.

Ibrii Sidebar Extension 1.4 is an extension for Firefox browser which allows users to snip any thing on a web page like text, photo, video or embedded object like streaming audios and share on not only Google Buzz but also Facebook and Twitter.

What else do you need to make your Buzzing more enjoyable. Just install the one you liked and enjoy Google Buzz.

  • Google Adsense : Tips To Avoid Ban On Adsense Account

1 Comment, Posted on Dec.28, 2009, under Google

You must never access your google adsense account from any computer other than your personal computer. If you access on other computers and some one click google ads from that computer those will be counted as invalid clicks and lead to ban.

Never ask any one to click on your google adsense ads. These type of clicks may earn not much but will lead to ban. Google Adsense is intelligent enough to track this type of clicks.

Get the traffic to your site in normal ways. Donot get the traffic from traffic exchanges which is against the policies of google adsense program.

If your google ad unit displays images avoid showing google ads on your own page views of your site. Google shows Cost Per Impression(CPM) ads also in image ads. If you view your pages from your own site very frequently for many times, and those pages show google image ads which are CPM based those impressions will be counted as invalid and may lead to ban. Unnecessarily do not view your own pages which shows CPM based google ads.

Donot use any software to automate the clicks on the google ads. These type of clicks are easily detected by google adsense program.

Many of the google adsense users does not read the google adsense program policies perfectly. If one read the policies completely and act accordingly your account will never be banned.

  • FeedBurner : How to Socialize Your Feed.

1 Comment, Posted on Dec.16, 2009, under Google

If you are an user of Twitter and tweeting the updates of your blog or website manually, you must use the Socialize feature of Google FeedBurner to automatically publish your updates on your twitter account. For doing so your blog or website must support feed with the latest updates. You must first add your feed to your FeedBurner account in order to make use of that feed by FeedBurner. From your FeedBurner menu go to Publicize and click Socialize and add your Twitter account details.

FeedBurner provides other options to set the format of the tweet that has to be published on to your twitter account. You may post the tweet content with 3 different options that is you may choose option to post only ‘title’ or ‘title and content’ or ‘Content only’ from your feed item. You can add the link to your update by selecting include link option which posts a Google short link (which is provided by Google URL shortening service) to your update. You can set up to 8 items to be tweeted to your twitter profile which are not tweeted earlier.

You can also use some keywords to filter the items that match those keywords from your feed and tweet only those items to your twitter profile. This service can be used as an alternative to the twitterfeed (explained in my earlier post) or you may switch from twitterfeed as FeedBurner Socialize supports tweeting up to 8 items at a time where as in twitterfeed it supports only 5 items at a time at this moment.
