HitWicket is an extension for FireFox browser which enables you to watch live score of international cricket matches. It displays the score in the status bar of the browser without disturbing your internet surfing. HitWicket uses CMDN.com to get the updates of the scores regularly. It works on FireFox versions from 2.0 - 3.5.
HitWicket also lists upto 4 live matches in a widget when clicked on the area where the score is displayed and enables you to switch between those matches. Which ever the match you like you can switch to that and view the score of that match. This add-on also gives the alerts when ever the batting side looses a wicket through popup which will be automatically closed.
To view the full score you can click the ‘Full Scorecard’ button which will take you to the Scorecard page in CMDN.com. HitWicket provides different themes which allows you to set to widget the colors you like. It also allows you to select an option to set the interval from 20 seconds up to 2 minutes to refresh the score. Most interesting is it works on Windows, Ubuntu and Mac as well.
